Emily Nichols is determined to get home for Christmas, after missing every family event this year. But when a series of mishaps put her holiday plans in jeopardy, she is forced to find an alternative plan. Luckily she meets Simon, a fellow road warrior on route to the same final destination. They join forces to try to make it in time for Christmas. With opposite personalities, their wills will be tested as they have to rely on each other, but it also provides the opportunity to get to know each other and, perhaps even, find love along the way.
